New video is out !

Achieving comfort through sustainable architecture

I spoke before on a previous video about balancing climate with thermal comfort when pursuing sustainable design.  The thinking behind this is based off the fact that about 80% of all energy consumed in a European home is for hot water and to acclimatize our spaces to match our thermal demands. If we could simply match this thermal demand with sensible architecture this consumption would disappear. We’ve already covered how to analyze the climate, in that previous video I mentioned. This video will focus on the second part of that equation. Balancing comfort with climate.

Sometimes things are not what they seem…

… And this is even more the case when it comes to sustainable architecture.

This is in part why I started my channel, to have a platform where I can share my knowledge. I’m not thinking I’m the only one doing sustainability, I most certainly am not. In many projects I wasn’t even able to push enough on this front. Most of the times this was a consequence of the fact that I was asking my clients to take a giant leap of faith with me, asking them to trust me to know what I was talking about.

This is a tall ask.

Hopefully this channel can arm me and people like me with a foundation in order to push the agenda forward.

Thank you all for your support, I truly appreciate it.
