Does BETTER architecture mean
more EXPENSIVE?
Is better architecture necessarily more expensive?
This could be the case, but if so, is it worth exploring?
Or should architects just continue on the beaten path of creating the cheapest solutions?
This video is part of a series where I walk you through my process of designing, going through building permits and then constructing a multi residential project close to my office.
In this episode I express that I believe there's clearly a time and a place to explore "other solutions". We should not strive to create more expensive places simply for the sake of splurging resources, but this shouldn't hold us back from exploring different atmospheres and ways of living. creating more intimate spaces.

Soon to be featured in “Une Brique dans le ventre”
I was very honored to be interviewed by Cédric Wautier, at our Wokr project!
I met with the whole team and their over 20 years experience on set showed through. Their level of experience is just amazing and is only matched by the humane quality.
I really had a great day, and I think I took quite a few lessons as the team was very generous with their knowledge.
I’d like to take the opportunity to thank the whole team at “une brique dans le Ventre” for their interest in our project and the opportunity they gave me to explain it to them and their audience.
I’d also like to thank Christophe Parot and his family for making the time to be present and share a meal with us all.
The show will air on March 15th!
As always, thank you all for your support,
M.Arch. Pedro Augspach
