From A-Architecture to Sustainable by Design
The summer gave me a lot to think!
Until now, everything I’ve shared, from architectural projects to videos and articles has lived under the name A-Architecture. That will remain the identity of my architecture practice, responsible for all design and building projects.
But as you know, I’ve also been developing something in parallel: a growing body of media work: videos, guides, articles, and conversations all focused on one belief:comfort, climate, and design are inseparable, and that’s where sustainability really begins.
To give that side of my work its own dedicated platform, I’m launching a new brand: Sustainable by Design.
The new website (sustainableby.com) will be online soon.
At some point in the near future, emails related to media and content will stop coming from @a-architecture.be and will instead come from @sustainableby.com.
(you don’t need to do anything to remain in the loop)
In short:
A-Architecture → architectural practice and projects
Sustainable by Design → media, communication, and learning platform
I’m excited to grow both of these worlds, and to keep sharing how design can shape a better future.

What if Corbu and Mies designed the same house?
This is my latest video where I come back to the philosophy driving both my practice and now my media presence. I’m particularly proud of one of the analogies here which is how sustainable architecture resonates a good conversation by listening more than talking.

What if Corbu and Mies designed the same house?
You may have also missed my latest video before the break, which I did about a house that did my head in. The house in itself is interesting, but what really caught me was how this highly influential architect, Rem Koolhaas, has managed to in a way merge the styles of Le Corbusier and Mies Van der Rohe. Up until this point to me they where more like The Beatles and The Rolling stones.Me personally, I love them both, but I’m more of a Stones fan (don’t kill me!)
🎬 Shorts of the Week (series on the world’s best houses)
In case you’re not aware, I launched a series of videos where I talk about the world's best houses. Here are a few of those videos:

Have a project of your own where fresh eyes could help?I open a few slots every week for deep, high-value consultations. Let’s talk.
As always, thank you all for your support,
