We hit (and passed)

2 Thousand Subs!

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each of you who watches, comments, shares, and supports the channel.

What started as a way to share my thoughts on sustainable architecture has grown into a real communityβ€”and I’m incredibly grateful.

Every video I make is fueled by your interest, curiosity, and encouragement. Here’s to learning, designing, and growing together.

Onward to the next chapterβ€”let’s build something meaningful.

FREE - Article on Daylight!

(For a limited time only)

My article on Daylight, of which I’m very proud of will undergo an overhaul. I will add a case study and some examples. Once this is done, I’ll start offering it for €10.

Before doing that, I’d like to offer you, my dear subscriber (and reader if you’ve made it this far), a free version. It will be live until the 25th of May 2025.

SHORTS of the week!

I only added 2 shorts last week, and the second one complimented nicely the one from the previous week which I decided to add again to the newsletter just in case you didn’t get a chance to see it yet!

By the same logic I decided to keep in the β€œbasic principles” I discuss in both shorts and my last long format video!

Basic Principles

You may also want to check ISO 128-1 & 2 as someone has kindly pointed out in one of the comments of the video.

Coming up!

My short on D5 Render is nearly complete, and will be coming up soon. This is an image I managed to get from the render with β€œminimal effort”. With a very rudimentary knowledge of the software which I garnished in only a couple of hours (not days). I have to be honest, I’m quite proud of this one, though I believe most of the credit is to the software itself!

I particularly like how I can add drama to the image, while keeping β€œtrue” to the light direction given the location and exact time

You can have access to a free version of this software in the link.

Further News

Mi multi-residential project which I documented since the site analysis is encountering a few hiccups (like projects do). I will update its status as it evolves. In the meantime if you missed the process you can take a look at it starting with this video!

If you’re working on a project where you think I could provide you some input, please do not hesitate to book a meeting with me. I try and keep a few slots open a week, but the idea is for these meetings to be very intensive.

As always, thank you all for your support,

M.Arch. Pedro Augspach
